2-day Online Course + 1-day In-person Tasting Session + Exam – with Textbook

2-Day Session Online Theoretical Training (via Microsoft Teams)

1-day In-person Tasting Session

• Dates: Saturday, September 19, 2026
• Full-day Seminar: Theory & Tasting
• Time: 09:30 – 17:00 approximately

Final Exam – In-person

• Date: Monday, October 26, 2026
• 12:30 – Reception
• 13:00 – 14:00 (60 minutes) – Written Exam
• 14:05 – 14:45 (40 minutes) – Tasting Exam
• 14:55 – 15:15 (20 minutes) – Short Essay Exam

This plan includes a 2-day online course via Microsoft Teams, followed by a one-day in-person tasting session. The plan also includes the exam fee and textbook.

Exam Components:

1. Written Test: Approx. 100 fill-in-the-blank questions (60 minutes)
2. Tasting Test: Blind tasting of 4 types of Japanese sake and 2 types of Honkaku shochu & Awamori (40 minutes)
3. Short Essay Test : 2 questions, around 200 words each (20 minutes)
